Will a summer cut bring summer weather?

After 7 months Gavin finally got a trip to the groomer.  I encouraged her to take it short.  Spring is a time of renewal and shedding all that is unnecessary after all.  Plus I figured a summer cut may bring us warmer weather.

Two and three quarters hours and $40 plus tax (and a really good tip) later:

 

I think he is 10 lbs lighter and faster with his tennis ball!

I love my groomer!  Now come on summer!

Gavin looks so cute. I just had Vern's coat really cut for the first time and I love it. Fudge stays the same all year. The new summer cuts has not helped our weather. We have had hot weather, snow, and now rain all in the same week.

It seems to be unanimous, not only does he look great but we are all moving near you to use your groomer.  What a bargain!  By the way, if the cut does bring warmer weather to you, I am going to have Phoebe shaved to bring some to us...just kidding :)

My heart actually started beating faster as I was reading your post and it said "I encouraged her to take it SHORTER" ..... words I could never make myself say to a groomer as they seem to do that all on their own ...... however, your groomer did a wonderful job!  Gavin looks great and I'm guessing he feels great as well.  And only $40 ...... wow!

Holy Smokes, I wish I could come and use your groomer!  First, great job, second, great price!  I paid $78 for Pepsi's last haircut and it was pretty much a trim.  I am thinking he could use a big shave for spring as I am finding more "tumbleweeds" than usual in the corners.  Probably blowing out his winter coat.  But his haircut costs more than mine so I figure he should wait a while longer!  :)
