- Full-time, stay-at-home dog mom. Retired nurse. Former volunteer St John Ambulance Pet Therapy supervisor.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Looking for a Standard doodle. Golden, Berne, Sheepa or Golden Mountain.
We lost our sweet Golden Retriever last November. We still have our 3, senior, long-haired dachshunds.
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Our lovely Golden died at 11.5 years old of osteosarcoma. We hope by looking for a doodle our new family member might have less risk of getting any type of cancer.
Sometimes my allergies can be bad but I seem to acquire a tolerance to my own dogs. And shedding!! My thinking is an F1b doodle to decrease my allergies issues and also pleasantly lessening the shedding.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I'm hoping for that sweet temperament and a dog that would be respectful of our aged dachshunds. We are willing to wait a year.
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I would do my own grooming. I was trained by a professional show-dog groomer.
