- About Me:
- I am an avid cross stitcher, antique auction goer & a partylite consultant-Living with my husband in Wisconsin & family is spread out everywhere, but here, closest sister is in Marshfield WI. I love books but with much to do, I have gotten into listening to them on CD, mainly from the library & I love to listen to new & current music. I have 2 music magazines, that wait for. I am only an aunt to a Doodle-Malibu Barbie Dahl-owned b;y my sister & her husband, in Las Vegas. Where a brother & his family reside & my widowed Dad-who recently sent me a hand crafted uniquely made specifically for me by him-almost everyone in the family has one-I cherish mine-Jeanmarie
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We actually have 6 miniature poodles. Tasha-12, Stella-10(the momma) & her litter- Simon, Fannie, Hannah & Daphne all just turned 7 in Jan. We didn't know Stella would have 4 puppies after just one breeding session, so I was getting ready to place an ad in the paper & Tom said "who are you going to sell?" So I was happy to keep everyone-I mainly do grooming-very little cause they hate being brushed-I am a cosmetologist, but working with dogs is very different. I take them to the vet, although we have a vet that does house calls for their annual innoculations. Thank goodness we have a double city lot & my husband" the gardner" is the poo-picker-upperer. If I had seen the dog whisperer before all of this I would have never kept everyone-we do everything completly backwards from his teachings, & what he says does make sense in how to train your dog.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I would love this type of dog, my sisters is crazy with energy & unbelievable smart-my oldest one is crazy with energy & very naughty smart-she has taught me many many dog lessons. She once swollowed my one carrat round diamond ring in a big setting which I didn't realize was gone right away. So I told Tom I would have poo duty for the week & sqweeze poo in a plastic bag when picked up to see if we would get the ring out. This happened on a Tuesday night & on Saturday morning while he got his coffee started, he went to the front door to get the newspaper & he said "look what she just threw up"-it was all covered with grass & was exceptionally shiney-all of my nurse friends said she could have ruptured her intestines or other organs & I was very lucky-Tasha was lucky too, cause I was ready to kill her. She has put me thru my paces & more than anything I love her to death.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I wish I would have trained them more. Mine love to play in the yard. We have to be careful to keep them out of the garden. My smallest the runt of the litter, Daphne loves to eat the tomatoes, the first summer she got a taste for them, Tom let the ones that the rodents got at on the vine, he put on the ground & was hoping the rodents would eat those-Daphne gorged herself on them, which gave her a UTI because tomatoes will act as a directic & it kept the urethra open for bacteria to find its way in, & as soon as she got her first shot of the antibiotic in her, her constant having to pee stoped.

- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Me & sometimes a neighbor friend who grooms from & lives right across the street from us. She just got her First Brown Standard Poodle at Thanksgiving 2008-Holly.

Thanks for joining my site and keeping up with my progress with therapy and learning new things. I now go to the hospital on Sundays where I roam free from room to room and run down the hallways and play with the nurses. Then on Thursday I go to my assisted living center to play ball with my geriatric friends. I love to make them laugh, as I prance and jump in the air for them! I take turns giving the ball to everyone, but I do have my favorites who throw the ball really far for me. hehe Love your furry butted niece Malibu Barbie Dahl
Samantha & I live in Short Hills, NJ. She begged & pleaded to get out of the cold and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmond group invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family here in DK.
