Standard F1 male and female litter mates. Blond and apricot coloring respectively. Mother golden and father standard poodle. Male (Gordy) has more dominant retriever physical qualities and personality and female (Maya) is more poodle dominant.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Many reasons that whole family contributed. Husband wanted good hygiene/non-shedding breed, kids wanted big dogs that they could train and play with, and I wanted a sweet, intelligent temperament.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Go on walks, play in yard, hang on patio, roll around on rug for tummy rubs

A little bit but nothing major

Me and a Mobile groomer monthly
