About Me:

We are both retired and lost our beautiful Boxer 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't want to try and replace her as that would have been impossible. We saw a lady walking 2 dogs going past our house and my daughter stopped one day and asked her what they were and where did she get them. We went out to the breeder's home way out in the country and brought Katie home the same day. She is a handful going through her puppy stage but we love her.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have a 4 month old Golden Doodle named Katie who weighs 40 lbs. She is going to be about 80 lbs. as an adult. She sits, stays, lays down, gets in her bed and rings a bell to go potty. Her intelligence amazed my husband and myself!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Didn't think it would be fair to get another Boxer as I knew we would always be comparing the new dog to our deceased Boxer. We also wanted a large dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We have a fenced 1/2 acre back yard which affords us room to throw balls, frizbees, plus lots of running room for Katie. There is another dog next door and the 2 of them race each other along the fence line. Katie is exhausted at the end of the day.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Grateful Pets will once she needs it.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Several soft toys, chuckit, Ancilis brushes,Solvit car harness and lots of balls.
