About Me:

I'm a single mom to two boys (ages 18 and 14), dog and cat lover, reader, walker, weight lifter (for fun and exercise). I love being outside in the sunshine.

Murphy is my new goldendoodle puppy. He's 4 months old on May 14 and is such a sweet little boy--who's growing quickly. :)

Chopper was a goldendoodle. He was just under 13yo when we had to help him over the Bridge because of a tumor next to his heart. He wasn't much in the brains department but it didn't matter because he has do much heart to give to everyone. He'd greet anyone who walked into the house with a shoe or a sock, or dishtowel (and even a bra out of the dirty laundry one day when nothing else was avaialble, lol).

Also living at my house are a Dachsund (adopted) named Scooter (he's diabetic) and three cats. The doxie and one cat (Rosie) belong to my mother, who lives with us, and my two cats (Butter and SweetPea).

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We wanted a doodle at the time because of the low shedding and the lower chance for allergies. Plus they are absolutely adorable.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Murphy loves everything right now. He's a snuggler, for sure but he also loves going outside to do business and run around like a wild man. He's starting obedience classes (mostly so I can learn!) and is an absolute joy. (When he's not going outside, doing business, then coming in and piddling more, lol.)

Chopper used to love to "come with mum" for rides in the car, where he liked to sit in the front and "hold hands" while I drove. We loved talking walks anywhere and playing throw the ball/stick/toy/whatever, he'd bring it back and then play keep away. <3

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

A local groomer with great Yelp ratings and personal recommendations from other dog-owning friends.
