Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Long story. A friend knew I was looking for a dog and stopped by one night and said "get in the car." A friend of hers (actually about 4 blocks from me) had 5 week old puppies (litter of 10). It was love at first sight. There were only two black ones and they were keeping one; Ishmael was the other. I get to visit whenever I wanted and we still visit frequently with his brother, Blackjack and mom, Sophie. His sister, Lily, lives three houses away.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Swimming!!! dog park, playing with neighbor kids, going ANYWHERE in car, eating watermelon, playing with buddies: Blue (mastiff), Murphy (yellow lab), and his "uncle" Ryley (chocolate lab).

Nope!
