About Me:

Dog owner since an 8 years old. Retired social worker, volunteer coordinator at local Humane Society, formerly fostered Dachaunds, live alone. Dogs owned have been toy fox terrier, mixed boston terrier, schnauzers (3), bestie, 4 dachaunds and now standard golden doodle.

Poppy Grace, age 3 years, Goldendoodle, is the only pet I currently own. Have had her since age 11 months. She was surrendered by a breeder and lived in her crate. She is house trained, crate trained and leash trained, We are still battling her chasing rabbits

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I choose her because of their gentle nature, ability to train, and she fits into my lifestyle. Sometimes I feel she knows what I am thinking before I verbalize it. Poppy is the first large dog I have ever owned. I live alone and wanted the added friendship and protection of a large dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We walk, play fetch, visit neighbors together, do day trips. Poppy loves to play ball and we play with her toys

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Professional Groomer who has groomed my dogs for a number of years

She is on a grain-free diet, ProPac Bayside Select, eats grain free treats
