2010-11-15 Hogan Independence Grove
This was our first visit to the second of the four Lake County Leash Free Dog Exercise Areas - Independence Grove. The lake at Prairie Wolf had a very steep muddy incline, and we weren't certain that Hogan would be able to swim or to climb out without help. Not wanting to get covered in mud, we didn't let him into that lake. Here, however, he happily jumped in to play and exhibited the "puppy crazies"

Independence Grove is my favorite of the Lake County Preserve Dog Parks! But Hogan would do fine with the steep bank at Prairie Wolf. The Paw Pad romp is held there, and lots of the mini doodles do just fine getting in and out of the water, in spite of that steep muddy bank. I have photos on my page.
