Kathy's Song by Siri Bones with clips from this morning's hike
I shot the clips with my "carry" camera on an early morning hike. The rain was mostly like a heavy mist .. as in the song "soft and warm continuing". The light wasn't that great as it was pretty dark in the woods. I found some chanterelles and this is the earliest I have ever seen them. As always, I am indebted to Siri Bones & her guitarist for the use of the music. Simon & Garfunkle's "Kathy's Song" is one of my all-time favorites.

Beautiful again. You are so fortunate to have an area where Cedar can roam free. I think plants are way ahead of schedule. Global warming? I have hydrangeas and Rose of Sharon that don't usually bloom until sometime next month. But we are on a different schedule here, my digitalis bloomed weeks ago. Sunnier and hotter, no doubt.
