Hogan developed an ear infection last November. While we were at the vet, the technician offered to show me the proper way to clean his years. She also allowed me to video her demonstration so I could share the procedure with my family. I suspect others on DK might also benefit from seeing our vet's instruction, so I'm sharing it here.

Note too that she finished the cleaning by using cotton balls. I had to trim the end of the video to fit DK's size requirements!

Hey Denis...Looks like Adina got to you first with the answer.  Good because she knows more than I do.  I just learned something too!  ha

Denis, underneath your video, under the "Rate" section you can click on "Get Embed Code" -- copy that code and you can paste it into a discussion or response to discussion and the video will appear in there.  And if you ever have trouble with the size/length of your video, if you upload to YouTube first you can then add it here with the YouTube embed code (either right into the video section or into a discussion/response).

That's a good idea, Nancie - how do I add/link a video to a group?  Do you mean start a discussion thread in the group and post it?

Denis...I was just thinking.  You might want to also post this video in the "Grooming Group" because it goes hand and hand with grooming.  I'm sure there are a lot of DK people who would love to have this knowledge.  Thanks for sharing it!

Yep, I do that every week or when Gracie Doodle has a bath or goes swimming!!!  Does he have Poodle hair in his ears?  If so do you pluck it out or have it plucked by the Groomer?  I do my own grooming so I also pluck the hair.  That is the one part of grooming I hate the most because I feel like I am inflicting pain on my poor baby.
