As far as communicating, he does fairly well with Yankee. That's the great thing about getting him a dog. He doesn't need speech. Yankee still gives him a lick every night at bedtime.

Cody and Yankee have really bonded. It is obvious that Cody loves Yankee and that they have their own thing going. I was quite interested in the way Yankee behaved with Cody; he was very gentle but direct too. I don't sign much so I wasn't sure of most of Cody's signs but he obviously communicates quite well. Has Yankee helped with that?
