They are so funny Laurie.  Sometimes Kona will just lay on the couch and watch Buddy fetch, but she can't take it for long before she butts in.....  He really loves to fetch, especially his squeeky ball, but he will not tolerate her abuse :)  I think that is why temperaments like ours get a long so well, one or the other takes it or gives up without a fight.  Eventually it all evens out though.

I have to laugh about your fetch remark. Vern will get the ball ONE time and then he takes such abuse from Fudge, he quickly drops the ball and lets her have it and then happily runs BEHIND her. He gets back at her, like you say, when they are outside running and no ball is involved.

Poor Buddy will barely fetch if Kona is too close.  She will pull and bite on his ears until he gives up the ball :(  No wonder he gives her a good roll when we get to the dog park, he has to get her back somehow!  In the house he is the perfect gentleman....

I know!! I felt bad because just last night he was running around the house with this baby crying, trying to find a "safe place" for it.   Rosey must have taken notes... but after the destuff we made daddy throw it away.. I wasn't going to be the bad guy!

ha ha!!  Rosey just gave Bandit a big teasing tonight... took his favorite baby, and destuffed it:(
