Simba and Chloe Playing
They play like this every night for about 20 minutes and then Chloe has had enough. She goes and gets under something small like a hutch or ottoman so Simba can't reach her anymore.

Exactly with the cat naps comment, every few hours they go at it. Simba the pup starts it and Chloe puts up with it for a while. We just threw in the towel early with trying to keep them off the furniture because we have always let our mini golden Chloe on the furniture so we did not know how we would 'explain' that to the puppy Simba :-)

We have episodes of this too, especially like now, when it's so hot and they aren't getting much outdoor exercise. But I try--not always successfully--to keep them from fighting on the furniture.

Yup, it looks familiar. It goes on most of the day with my two. They take little "cat naps" and then they're right back at it.
