I just love the way Lucy is rolling on her back...So cute...

I like your "Loving Mom's Opinion" about her not wantiing to hurt Sophie...the smaller one!

Doodles are loving and kind like that... (just my loving Mom's opinion...smile)

I never tire of seeing Doodles playing and Lucy is taking this game lying down.  They look like such good friends.

Kona lays on his back to play in the house so I never thought he was scratching his back. He rolls on the wet grass and scratches his back every day. He loves it. Also Owen is one so he gets the zoomies like nobody's business and Kona just watches him. Unless he is on a run with DH Kona is pretty slow moving. ;o)

Funny.  Starlit plays this way too and I agree with you that they do this because it takes less energy.  Really nice video.

Ours our very very similar in coloring.  Lucy always lays down when she plays.  In the Summer when it is really hot she flies out the backdoor to the far end of the yard where there is one tree with shade and flips over on her back and that is where they play.  In my " isn't she sweet"  Mom mode I always wanted to believe that she did this because she was so much bigger than Sophie that she was just being careful not to hurt Sophie, but I honestly think she does it because it takes less energy.

Lucy and Sophie have coloring so similar to my Kona and Owen. Kona will occasionally lie on his back when they are playing too but never for as long as Lucy in this video. How cute and funny!

Peri does this all the time when she plays....it's a smart doodle multi-tasking move.  Plus Lucy is letting Sophie do all the work :)
