The Master Grooming brush is not near as good as the Les Pooch brush -- not even close. I ordered a brush from the Les Pooch website a few months ago. After it didn't come, I called Les Pooch, and they told me that they were backordered until summer but that they were holding everyone's orders. They do not divulge this on the website. I ended up ordering my Les Pooch brush from http://www.reigningcatsndogs.co.uk . It is significantly more expensive than the retail price in the U.S., but it was totally worth it for me to go ahead and have the brush. Someone else in another discussion mentioned how great Debbie from Reigning Cats n Dogs is to work with, and I must second that. Their website is a bit confusing for international orders, but she will help you thru it. The tines or bristles or whatever they are called are much longer and stronger on the Les Pooch brush than any other brush I have purchased. I wish I had just bought the Les Pooch brush to begin with and not wasted my money on 5+ other brushes (including the MGT brush) that I will never use again.
Thanks for the info- FYI, reiningcatsanddogs is currently out of stock on the brushes. ;(
I have both, and the MGT is okay, but really not as great as the LesPoochs. I think it is a good substitute because it is cheap and easily gotten, but I would order the LesPoochs from England (as Acitvet brand) even though it is expensive.
The Les Pooch brush is now being sold under the name of Activet. You can purchase them at www.groomershelper.com - I purchased the double mat buster (red) $65 and the pro firm (purple) $40 brushes and they arrived in about a week. The shipping was about $11 to AZ.
Thank you Teresa! I ordered the purple one today. Oakley thankfully has only had a few Mats but I want to stay on top of it. May order the double mat buster as well.
