Anyone else done with FB dog groups? the panic, omg

I'm following the great discussion here on Taurine deficiency, but had to ask how many of us have witnessed the complete panic on FB? I know I can't be the only one assuming that someone has an agenda....to see millions switching over to "the 5 Big Companies" that just happen to be in line with each other?  My head is going to explode.  I came here knowing there would be sensible reason and I've tried directing many other worried dog owners here.  That one huge group is so one sided, sensored and in your face. Just wow.  

My issue is that I need chicken free.  I have three doodles, at 3 different stages.  I usually end up with 3 diets.  I just switched to Zignature again and was very happy until the posts on FB....even in the doodle groups now, started screwing with my common sense.  Someone here please assure me I'm not killing my babies slowly.  Why must Pro Plan be the answer???  And Royal Canin is confusing and expensive.  Hills???  Seems like we've gone back 15 years with that choice.  Eukanuba and Iams…..sugar coated cereal.  

Has anyone seen the chart they have that they do not want posted outside the group? Am I the only one in there that's suspicious? If they claim to be helping dogs, why not post everywhere they can to spread the word?

Thank you for posting that chart and thanks again for this group! Teddy is on Zignature due to gastro issues and if I had seen that on FB without being part of this group I would have totally freaked out!

agreed!   Is no one in that group suspicious about the obviously fishy results????  No one case with any of those brands.  Baloney.

I'll tell you, the info on this website makes my head spin. There is barely a single thing there that is factual. 
However, I did appreciate this statement by Dr. Stern, who is after all the person heading the study, lol:

In other words, nothing in the FB group or this website comes from the actual studies or the actual researchers. Just from random FB members. LOL

Not sure how or if it’s related, but both amazon and Chewy had their Wellness Core Natural Grain Free Dry Dog Foods

  on pretty good sales yesterday.  The 26# bags were listed around $44.   I suppose all the hysteria has to be hurting these brands.

I saw that!  I imagine it is hurting them.  Maybe they'll come out with more healthy grain formulas because of this though.
