Any info on histiocytoma's??

Hi Everyone,

Toby has recently developed a histiocytoma on his front leg. I was wondering if anyone has experienced one of these before or know someone who has!!! Thanks so much :)

Hi Danielle, Abby had one on her face last year. It was by her nose, she rubbed it causing it to bleed. Her vet did not want to do surgery because it would leave a large scar at that location. I don't remember how long she had it but it didn't stay as long as the vet thought it would. The vet gave me Animax cream to use. After I put the cream on it, she didn't try to rub it anymore.

After a few months the hair grew back and it is hard to tell where it was.

My newfie had one on his chest when he was about 15 months old. Vet gave us some cream (can't remember the name) and it was gone in about 10 days. Never had another problem. :-)

Thanks for the info you guys :) The lump is def. getting smaller each day, so hopefully no removal!!!
