- Husband wanted a lab and I have always wanted a standard poodle, also didn't want a dog that sheds

Hi, Gail! Sassy is a standard F1 doodle. Her father is the poodle and is pretty tall! Tell your husband to opt for the Golden Retriever/Poodle mix since Goldens have a friendlier disposition. Put that together with the poodle's intelligence and you have a great dog (I may be just a little biased)! Good to hear from you.
