Hey!!! Long time no see......I rarely get on here, anymore!!!....How's the sister doing???
Can't believe they're almost 1 1/2!!!!! Dude still has his MOMENTS, but seems like things are slowly settling down. He really got into the water this summer, and now all he wants is to go OUTSIDE and lay in the snow!!! UGH!!! Maybe this year we will try to make the doodle romp, it would be great to see Taffy. Hope all is well with all of you!!

hi renee, thanks for your nice words about fozzie! taffy is beautiful as well, looks so sweet! fozzie does pant up a storm in the warm weather. i think he prefers the cold (unlike his mommy). i hope you had a nice weekend and stayed dry!

Thanks for the suggestion. I think he might have too much room in his crate. Problem solved for now, lets see how today goes (I am crossin my fingers, I just need 1 good day in the crate). Like I said he is an angel at night time, but I think he knows that we are right by him because he is currently in our room. Thanks Again.

YA.....that's about all he eats too....down to eating only once a day most of the time....once in a while he will get hungry & go stand by the food...so I feed him more.......he likes to eat anything that he can get down his throat!!! bunny poo, sticks, leaves, paper,snoopys, you name it.............oh, ya he drives us crazy with the bell...darn near rings it off the door.....but i can't have him start barking because we go to our condo in Fl. & i don't want him to bother anybody with the barking...sooo i guess we will have to put up with the ringing in our ears, HA!!

oh my gosh, I thought i was looking at a pic of Dude!!!!!....that is really crazy how much they look alike.... I know exactly what you're talking about....BAD BAD DOG........Dude had his days too....almost scared me sometimes to think I was losing control of the situation......Ok..I have to confess...I broke down & bought that program on tv for 'the perfect dog"...it really works!!!...but you have to stay at it....he said when the dog bites at your hand when your walking, to take your palm & cuff it in the nose....it's like the equivalent of nipping him back...& when the dog nips at your hand to put your hand all the way back in it's mouth, right back as far as you can get it with your other hand on the back of it's head so it can't get away....then hold it there for about 10 sec.or until the dog gets really uncomfortable with it......it doesn't take long for dogs as smart as these to realize what's going to happen when they nip...I tried it & it worked for Dude, ...he really doesn't bite anymore....it might sound kind of cruel...but it really isn't... the guy says that in the animal world they use force to disipline & keep the pack under control...that it's prefectly natural....must be because Dude really does what i tell him to [and he still loves me!!!!} ............I don't ever let him just run in the back yard without being tied up even tho we have it all fenced in...... the other day he was off leash with me on the damn & the neighbors dog came down to say hello thru the fence...then he took off toward his house & before I knew what was happening, & Dude took off across the ice on the pond ........I yelled at him to come back & just as he turned he fell thru the ice....I thought I was going to have a heartattack!!!!....he was tying to climb onto the ice but just kept falling back in I scooted along the fence & hanging on for dear life with one hand, stretched as far as my arm would go & just barely caught his collar ..........I can't believe he did that!!!! scared me sooo much.....it's like seeing one of your kids go in!! so needless to say the nice big fenced in back yard is pretty useless right now, at least until the ice goes out!!!....just hope he's won't be terrified of the water............sorry this is sooo long..........I still can't believe those pics!!!.....what a cutey...LOVE the one with the red pillow.....later

How's Taffy doing??....Hope she's all healed up....Dude had THE operation when he was 3 !/2 months...definitely easier on the boys.....it made a big difference having it done laser, too, he was only laid up a day or two & never even tried to bite at the stitches....can't wait to see some more pics of Taffy...she's so darned cute!!....took Dude to Petsmart for a grooming & got a poodle back!!!...they shaved between his eyes, the hair on top of his head, looked like a helmet & they cut his feet really short.. so I trimmed the hair myself.... thank god it will grow out! [I didn't do that good of a job]...Does Taffy want outside all the time?..Dude is driving me crazy ringing the bell & then all he does is eat snow or sit.....how much does Taffy weigh now? I hoisted Dude up & weighed him tonight....47lbs!! & he doesn't even eat that much... sure hope he slows down pretty soon!......someone said you double their 4 month weight & add 10 lbs for their full grown weight,.. have you heard that??? ...we were over at a friends the other night & Dude was playing with a small snoopy toy of their poodle's & I still can't believe this, but he swallowed it & we didn't know it until the next morning when he threw up this gross looking thing...I picked it up with a paper towel & saw the little paws & realized what it was, ugh....does Taffy like to chew on towels & other such things?...Dude never hurts them, he just kinda mouths on them..I'm just glad he threw it up....heard a few horror stories about operations to remove things like that....Well, hope Taffy's on the mend & running around...later

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner......the picture was just so sweet.....Don't you just love them to death sometimes???...I just clicked on a little smiley face & there are a bunch of smiles etc, on this message...hope they disappear!!!.....We go thru Illinois once in a while ...maybe we could arrange for the pups to get together?????........would really love to see Taffy...she just looks like such a bundle of love!...wonder if they would know each other somehow? when we were at the bark park in Florida, there was a very large doodle named Porter & he zeroed in on Dude. Wouldn't leave him alone, & actually started to protect him from the bigger dogs...it was really cute.....well, Dude's caught up with Taffy in the lost teeth department.....glad that's over! He didn't nip as much when he got out to the park- It really seemed to help him to get the exercise...come on warm weather!!!...later...Pat & Dude..

I know of the sub! My husband has a sister & brother. His brother lives behind Copley and his sister lives in Ottawa. His family grew up in Aurora. (North Aurora, actually!) I used to be the infant teacher at the Kindercare in Batavia, just past Mooseheart - the name of the street eludes me at the moment! I remember when Daisy & Zoe both got spayed! Neither could leave them alone for 5 minutes. Daisy irritated hers to the point of them leaking - talk about messy! I never thought of covering them w/ clothing! The weather here is warmer too. All our ice & snow are melting! I can't wait for Spring.

Enjoy Taffy while she is peaceful! We had a heck of a time keeping Daisy away from her stitches - once her weakness wore off! It was all I could do to keep her quiet for a few hours a day for 7-10 days! But Daisy is my little girl I never had since I can't talk hubby into 3rd child! I guess I might have to push for sibling for Daisy! So where about in Aurora, are you? We used to live in the Wheatlands, just before you hit Oswego. The boys went to Wheatlands Elem & Bednarcick JH.. I haven't been back since 07 and alot had changed since then!
