Qiviut ("Qivi") is a 7 month old Standard Goldendoodle and he is approximately 53 - 55 pounds right now. He is mellow, funny and fun-loving, and never wants to be too far away from us.
We also have two big fluffy cats. Comet (20 lbs.) is Qivi's best buddy and Motley (15 lbs.) enjoys gentle contact with him.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Having owned a Golden Retriever for 13 years, we wanted to replace him with an equally loving personality but loved the fluffiness of the Doodles - and of course the fact that Qivi doesn't shed! :)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

HIking and Snuggling! And I even enjoy brushing him since I can do it without getting covered in fur, since he doesn't shed! :)

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I do, so far. We are hoping to keep his coat long, and despite lots of time spent playing in the forest on our property, we've managed to keep him free of mats.
