About Me:: Dogs have been a part of my life my entire life. I first joined Doodle Kisses when the site was brand new and I had two awesome doodles who are gone now.
I've had a lifelong career as a teacher and am now "home with the dog." : )

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My 19 month old doodle is an F1-b. His mom is an English golden doodle, and dad is a small standard doodle. My friend, breeder Judy Albertson, (Tualatin Doodles in Oregon) is his first mom, and my husband and I flew to Oregon from New York to bring Seamus home!!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I've had all kinds of dogs, but before Seamus, we had Rusty, a goldendoodle who was from Glen Eden, and Abby, who was a labradoodle rescue. Not long after we lost them, Judy posted her new litter on Facebook, and there was never a question that we wouldn't make one of those puppies a member of the family.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Just about everything!!!!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I've been going to the same groomer in my hometown since we brought our last doodle home as a puppy. We love them!!

I've probably called Animal Control 10 times a year for the past 2 years. Hope you find him a home...is your shelter a safe place? Any rescues locally? I am now 6 weeks post-op from the knee surgery and coming along very nicely. Glad to see you posting here. I haven't had much of a chance to check things out completely or to write a full history on Doc but once I can sit for longer periods of time at the computer I'll change things around. I understand about not being able to get on line that often. Life has a way of catching up to you. We can't hide forever even though we try :o))
