Karin, we order our tags through Lucky Pet. I get the plastic ones - they are guaranteed forever. I call and they set it up over the phone - that way there is NO room for mistakes. Here is a link in case you want to do the same thing. I try to order the smallest tag that fits the information and they help with that too.

You are welcome. I just asked them for copy of when the next shots were due, went home and made a few copies that I keep in the cars and RV. I also don't have my dogs wear their license tags. They wear their collars and tags 24/7, so in the interest of noisy tags, I printed on both sides of their i.d. tags - I have their name then their license number and the town, then my name and number, my vet's phone number. On the back I have the word CHIPPED and the chip company phone number. I figure I have all bases covered.
