What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have one golden doodle name Riley, who is 2 years old. He's definitely more doodle than golden. He's very intelligent, enthusiastic, affectionate and funny. His sister, Zoe, is a 5 year golden retriever. Riley adores her and is her protector. If we ever don't notice that Zoe is trying to get our attention, Riley gets right in our faces and makes us attend to Zoe. Riley is a herder--always trying to keep the family in the same room together. Very cute.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I have had 3 golden retrievers over the years, and just adore them. A few years ago a friend got a poodle. I thought this dog was very cool, so the natural thing for me to do was to find a mix of golden and poodle. I found out about golden doodles on YouTube and thought they were delightful.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We love to go a nearby dog park. Riley likes to be around lots of other dogs. Riley also likes to go for rides. I open his window part way and he sticks his head out. He is just in sheer heaven when I let him do this. His absolute favorite thing is when I take him for a ride just as school is letting out and he can see the children. If we drive down the main street of our town at that time, the kids wave at him and smile. Just too cute.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I brush him, but take him to a groomer for baths and trimming.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Riley loves all doggie toys, especially stuffed animals that make noise. Unlike my golden, he never chews them up, but rather carries them around.

Riley and Zoey are both beautiful! :-) Some of the photos are from Freedom Park in Medford, Boundary Creek in Moorestown and Longbridge Park in Hainesport. Do you go to any of those? Maybe we could meet up. The weather has been very nice, but a little too warm for me! It is supposed to cool down after the thunderstorms move through tonight. I heard it's going to be in the 60's tomorrow and the 60's and 70's next week. That's a little more to my liking! LOL Enjoy your day!

Click on that and then once you get into the group area, there is a litte search box - type in "Jersey Doodles". Then our page will pop up - if you click on the first one on the left, it will open up and near the top of the page I think there is a little blurp that says "join this group". If that doesn't work, let me know. And of course, your golden retriever can come - she's part doodle (LOL)

I wanted to invite you to join the group Maci and I started called "Jersey Doodles". I started the group so that other fellow NJ doodlers could locate/connect with other doodles in their area.
