We were married in 2006 and started our family a year later, with the addition of Brewski the dog. Elia came along next in 2008 and soon became Brewski's favorite pal. I'm not sure if it was the dropped food or stinky diapers that caught Brewski's attention, but she loved it all. Barley seemed like the next best idea and became our puppy friend in Spring 2010. Okay, adding a 2nd dog was a bit much...we found out we would have another addition coming in December...Lily. We now couldn't live without these silly Doods, although every now and then they're asked to move to a farm. : ) We try to live a healthy lifestyle...eating whole, organic foods and enjoy gardening in Spring/Summer. Our little ladies are just beginning their schooling adventure at our local Waldorf School.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We are the proud owners of two Golden Doodles, Brewski (5/2007) and Barley (4/2010) from Mueller's Woodville Kennel in WI. They are the most loving, gentle and goofy dogs we've ever met. Brewski has a brown nose and human-like eyes and is the cutest dog we've ever seen. She is very patient in playing dress-up with our girls and loves to dance with her Mom, Katy. She is super playful, still acting like a puppy. She always joins in a family game of chase and hide and seek. Barley is the bigger of the two, at 60lbs and loves to be on top of you at all times. His color is a bit deeper than Brewski's and his nose is black. He is the first to respond when Brewski's name is called, God forbid she get more attention. He is extremely gentle, cautious and kind, but not the best at dress-up. He likes to think he's in charge around the house, but we all know Brewski rules.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
There is nothing better than a scruffy dog face, and the loving nature and low-shed qualities of the dog made them the perfect fit. I (Katy) have lived with many terriers (Airedales and Wire Foxes), and although they fit the scruffy face quality, they are not nearly as loving and gentle.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We love dancing, playing chase and playing catch with a tennis ball or other squeaky toy.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
Katy
Favorite Doodle Products?
Not a Doodle product, but we like adding Grizzly Salmon Oil to their dog food. They also love the big, knuckle like Nylabones. They enjoy laying and chewing.

Hi DJ,
It was great meeting you and your adorable daughter on Saturday. She was so sweet amidst the sea of doodles. I'm looking forward to meeting Brewski and Barley at a future romp.
