- About Me:
- I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, color, and breeds. I've always had a dog, oftentimes more than one. Growing up, my mom was the unofficial dog rescue lady in town. I say unofficial because she did this on her own with no profit or nonprofit status. While enrolled in college, I worked full time at an animal shelter. By the time I quit working there, I had six dogs and four cats. I have also worked at a veterinary clinic, fostered dogs, volunteered at animal shelters, volunteered at a wildlife rescue, am a certified dog trainer, and currently run two blogs and an online business for pet car safety supplies.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I don't have a doodle, but I have a Labrador. I also have an Australian Shepherd mix. Maya is my lovable Lab. I adopted her as a puppy in 2007. Pierson is my super-smart Aussie mix. I rescued him from Pierson Park in Kansas City in 2012.

- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love to play and we love to go for walks. Maya also loves playing with sticks and going to the lake for a swim. Pierson really loves training time. He's learning all sorts of tricks.

My Pierson had another seizure today

I woke up very early this morning to some loud thudding noises. I got up to see what was going on and immediately recognized that Pierson was having another seizure. I say 'another' one, and unintentionally make it sound like he has been having a lot of seizures. But this is actually only the second seizure that I am aware of in his lifetime.

I placed my order for the Kurgo harness and used the discount code! Thanks for your help. I ordered the small. Goldie's measurements were on the border between XS and SM but since she is still growing but won't get any bigger than 22-25 lbs I thought it best to go with the SM. I sure hope it fits :)

Awesome! So glad you are here with us. We love dogs, not just doodles. Many of us have dogs that we make doodles just because... well then they feel welcome here. Because they always belong here. For example we have a Chihaudoodle. Many others. You get the idea.
And before we had doodles we had Labs or Goldens or whatever brought us to this site.
