About Me:: I am the father of five children (Mike, Lisa, Lynch, Blake, Giovanni), owner and playmate of one labradoodle, Nico and the husband of one wife (Suzi). The most important thing in my life is the health and happiness of my family. Next most important is the respect of and relationships with my friends. Nothing else really matters. Nothing. I love my work but I work to enjoy life and provide for my family. I embrace my Italian-American heritage and strive to share it with my children so that the Castiglione family, for generations, will appreciate and understand where they came from and why they're special.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Nico is a 2nd gen chocolate labradoodle. We found his breeder online then went to visit him before deciding he would become part of our family. The breeder is a wonderful woman who runs a family farm in Northwest Ohio and breeds labradoodles, golden doodles and labradors. (Buckeye Kennels). Nico is our only pet and is a wonderful playmate to our youngest son, Giovanni. He has a wonderful disposition. He's currently 8 months old and I have YET to hear him growl, bear his teeth or every show the slightest bit of anger or aggression. He's all about having fun, meeting people, playing and making us happy. We couldn't ask for a more enjoyable pet and companion.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My wife made the decision. She saw a labradoodle in Little Italy here in Ohio and decided she loved how they looked and the disposition they had. We did our homework and the fact that they were smart, easily trained, good family dogs and didn't shed made the decision an easy one. (Nico does NOT shed...not a bit. We LOVE that!)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: He's a big time fetcher. He loves to play catch and thoroughly enjoys romping on the schoolyard field behind our house. We took him to K9University and he did a fabulous job. He enjoys showing off his obedience skills, too (especially when there are treats to be gained!).

Does she have a doodle We are trying to get a doodle romp together here on the western part of the state, maybe she could come. Watch for the posting. Hey, don't go throwing me many Italian words b/c we were never taught the lanquage. My maiden name is Rago. I have always regreted that. My grandfather died at a young age in a tractor accident, but my grandmother lived to the old age of 102 and by herself. She was a wonderful lady.
