Sounds like your pup will be a large guy, but it don't think it is too unusual to gain 3 pounds in a week, expecially if it is a growth spurt. It looks like he may be a good candidate for the "Chocolate Doodle" group also. Love to see some pictures of your big, beautiful guy.

As to how much..I would go by the package directions to start and adjust based on the dog's weight. If your dog gets pudgy, give less, if doggy starts to get thin, give more.
