Roxy is 11 months old, and I just got a bike and a Bike Tow Leash for my birthday. I know she shouldn't do repetitive running while she's still growing, but what is the recommended age for a doodle to start running? I've been taking her just around the block with the bike at a slow trot just to get her used to it.
I take Hurley on short runs. He is only 16 months so I keep the runs short when he comes along. After he turns 2 I hope to increase his runs in frequency. It gets pretty hot here in the Las Vegas area so I need to invest in a good set of booties for him. Has anyone had any experience with booties? What brand would you suggest? We also take him up to the snow in Brian Head, Utah. He loves it but I noticed his paws get iced up. Should he be wearing booties when in the snow? Can he wear the same pair for both summer and winter? How difficult is it to put them on?
