About Me:

My husband Rob and I are first time Doodle owners and we love our 10 month old Doodle named Healey. We had a Yorkiepoo that we adopted at about 8 years old who lived with us until she was 17! We didn't expect to get another dog but fell in love with Healey as soon as we met her! We have a 19 year old daughter Alex and 17 year old son Nathan.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We got Healey at 8 weeks old and she was an adorable puppy. Alex asked to hold her and fell in love! She's now over 50 lbs and still growing. Her favorite toys are anything with peanut butter and Nyla bones. She also loves pulling the squeeky out of her toys! Healey is very friendly and loves meeting people and other dogs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We wanted a dog that didn't shed a lot and she was the cutest puppy in the store! We were not expecting to buy a dog while there since we really prefer to adopt but it was love at first sight!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Going to the Doggy park in Buffalo Grove and now the "Doodle Romp" in Wauconda. We finally were able to make it there last Sunday and had a blast! Also love to play tug of war with Healey and her favorite toys! She loves to be picked up by our daughter or by me!

Kong, Nyla Bones, and any stuffed squeeky toys with legs or arms for her to chew!
