Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Golden Retriever personality, non-shedding, smart, loves kids, gentle, happy.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Walking, walking, walking and she loves to ride in the car.

At 5:54am on September 23, 2008, Joan said…: Thanks for the great welcome from all of you! Yes, Maggie is 100 pounds! When she first arrived by plane from the Muellers in WI six and a half years ago, I saw this little tiny puppy--a fur-ball--with these huge paws and knew then that I was in trouble! The next day she started coming to work with me and she did so for the next year of her life and then, intermittently over the next few years. Now, I work several weeks each month from home at at 8AM she's standing by the basement door waiting for me to say "it's time to go to work!" Down she goes and she lays next to me all day long....just like when she was a puppy.

At 5:16pm on September 3, 2008, Laurel & Sophie said…: Oh my! 100 lbs. Sophie should get to be about 50 lbs. I hope they are right! :) I went to "look" at this pup with NO intentions to bring her home and only if they would keep her until after vacation 2 weeks later. Guess what-- she came home that day and I don't regret it for a minute. What a laid back pup.
