Hi Kate & Brett,
Thanks for your response. We have hotel reservations at Homewood Suites in Clovis because we have Hilton points. I made them for Friday & Saturday night. I really don't know how the appointment process takes place. Yes, its a tough decision to either stay the night in a hotel with the puppy or just do the drive. My husband is thinking stay the night before and then pick up the puppy and do the long drive. I have been reading about where to take a puppy to "go potty" before all the shots and they do recommend going to areas where dogs usually don't go and just have them go on the concrete. So we will just have to see. Its about a 5 hours drive for us. I am thinking I can't wait to bring him home and start our life together.
You have a way better position being 4th than us but seriously I could love anyone of those puppies, they are all beautiful. Carol said she has the first pick and she wants a female, the 2nd pic wants a male and pretty much likes the gold male. Whenever we showed the pictures to friends and family they all say the gold male but we like the lighter ones better. Aren't they all so cute! Wow, I researched for months since our 15 year old dog died last April and I just can't believe how great the end result is. Well, maybe I will retract that in the middle of the night 4 weeks from now!
Best of Everything and I sure hope to meet you guys and hopefully share our siblings in the future. If you get any information from Carol would you please share it and I will with you too. This is such a fun adventure!

Oh so happy to accept your friendship here! I am over the moon about our new little puppy and feel the same way about the 23rd as you. PLease come quick! I am so happy to meet you I think I saw your name on the e-mails from Carol. What position are you in? Were 8th! Not the best spot but thankful to have one of those amazing looking pups. Where do you live? It will be fun to keep in touch after the 23rd and compare notes. I joined this site a month ago and have found out so much. Interesting about the food and training and so fun to see the photo's. Is so hard to imagine what our puppy will turn out like. Sydney is the kind of Golden I was looking for and Neo is so adorable. Carol has been so helpful and very accommodating in every way.
What puppy do you like? Male or female? I hope to meet you and see your choice on the 23rd!
