Your pictures are adorable. Mickey Finn looks like a sweet heart.
I don't know if my response this morning to your inquiry of last week was received. If not call me in Yorba Linda a nine four nine sixteen hundred.
Regards and please say hello for us to Carol,
Donald
We're 4th pick and thinking we'll pick a male, but otherwise no real criteria - we're going to wait to see which one we fall in love with. We live in Santa Barbara, so right now we're trying to prepare for the long drive home with the new pup (whether we should stop b/c of Parvo, etc.). I see you're from Southern CA so you're probably doing the same. Let me know if you find any good tips!
Thank you for the friend request. Since we are both in Southern California, I look forward to meeting at one of the get togethers when your cutie is old enough. I am excited for you! Do you have pick of the litter? Do you care of it is male or female? If you could have your ideal doodle, what is your coat preference?
Our stories are so similar, I lost my 11 year old Shitzu/Bichon in Oct. I commend you for making it as long as you did, my house and heart were empty almost immediately. Looking forward to sharing puppy stories with you, and watching our pups grow and seeing what "Surprise" we end up with. I know our hearts will melt the moment we hold our new precious additions. Mine melted before he was even born.
Are you back?
The more accurate way to judge their adult weight is to take their weight at 14 weeks, double that and then add 5 - 10 pounds.
Scroll down on the blogs to see the Smilebox I made of Hondo. He was the best dog I have ever had. I fell in love with doodles because of him.
Got your note. If his (her) father was a miniature poodle, (s)he may end up the size you are hoping for. Take a look at the photos on my page. My first doodle (Hondo) was a F1 labradoodle and he weighed 105 pounds. Groucho Too is a F1b phantom goldendoodle. I now have an ALD and he is about 50 pounds. I think people are breeding the goldendoodles and labradors with smaller poodles to get smaller dogs, but you can never tell. Do you have a reason not to want a larger doodle?
