I am a wife, mom of 2 boys, a doodle, 2 cats and a bunny. I'm a registered nurse and work in an outpatient surgery center, and with a Dr. doing nutritional counseling for weight loss.

Samson our 2year old chocolate labradoodle came to us from BlueRidge puppies. He is a bundle of energy(similar to having a toddler again) and we love him to pieces! He is as big as a my youngest son but refuses to believe that he isn't a lap dog!!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Both my husband and I had grown up with dogs, and early in our relationship we had a pit bull. That was not the best experience, as the dog was too high energy for apartment living. We had been many years without a dog and then our boys started asking. I did a lot of research to find a dog with a great personality, who was INTELLIGENT(key requirement after the Pit bull) and who didn't shed. The doodle family stood out above the rest!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We love to throw the ball for him in the pool so he can retrieve it! He loves to swim! He also loves to dance with my husband!!

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

My husband is the full time groomer

any toy that he can't eat in one sitting!
