About Me:: My name is Krista. I am dog groomer, I have been grooming for 5 1/2 years and love my job! I opened my own salon on December 3rd 2011, called The Pampered Pup. I also work, every part time at a vet clinic. I absolutely love doodles and will hopefully never live a day without one!!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have one Goldendoodle, who is 5 years old. His name is Chevy a.k.a Chev-Chev. He has hip dysplasia, but no one would ever know with the way he plays! Chevy is full of life, smart, and loves tricking everyone into giving him a cookie! He will do just about anything for a spoonfull of peanut butter. I also have a 5 1/2 year only lab mix that we resceued from a high kill shelter, his name is Cole. He is Chevy's best friend in the whole world! Cole loves to eat and go for walks. I also have a 4 month old Holland Lop (bunny) named Dolce. Chevy and Dolce get along very well!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We were looking for a friend for our 15 year old Golden at the time, her name was Sandy. We weren't sure what kind of puppy we wanted, but we knew it had to be a puppy Sandy loved as much as us. When I first held Chevy, he was only 6 weeks old, and I knew right away I had to have this puppy. Sandy liked the little bugger as much as the rest of the family! Chevy came home with us the next afternoon!!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: One of my favorite things to do with Chevy is play ball. He will play ball for hours if I let him! I also love grooming him and he likes it also. Its our special time together. It's fun to put him in all different haircuts!
