What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have two cats, sisters named Kudra and Pip, and a fine young goldendoodle, Casey R. Doodle, born December 1, 2010. Casey goes everywhere with me, and has since he was 8 weeks old--farmers markets, parks, outdoor movies and concerts, and to work where he sleeps under my desk. I hope some day he'll be able to work as a therapy dog and work to help others in some way. People treat him like a rock star wherever he goes--he loves people and dogs so much. He has his own photo set, "Entirely Casey!" on flickr. com and his own Casey R. Doodle facebook page. At almost 8 months, he weighs 69 lbs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I've had dogs my whole life and every one of them came to me as an adult rescue. I loved every one of them and we were together until the very end. But Casey will be my last dog, and I wanted to start from the very beginning, knowing he was from healthy parents and had not been traumatized.. I did a lot of research--honestly, I'd never heard of a goldendoodle before. Every trait I was looking for belonged to--yes--a goldendoodle. I started researching breeders (having never dealt with one before) and wanted to find one locally that I could visit and who had references in the area. I chose Casey for his temperament, good health, and because he'd been loved and cared for from the moment he'd entered the world.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Everything! I love doing everything with Casey! He's always the star of the show wherever we go--outdoor concerts, markets, festivals, fairs. But our closest and best time is at a 40 acre dog park near our city, Marymoor. It's beautiful and wild, forests, meadows, fields and a river. It's so big and peaceful and has- so many trails that we can wander and explore, wild and free, off leash. We also love taking training classes...he's an eager and fast learner--obedience, off leash...we've taken some agility, dance, and tricks classes for fun and have just started an Urban Herding (treiball) class.

Favorite Doodle Products?: N/A (though we do love his "Doodle on Board" car window decal from doodlekisses.com !)
