Yesterday we lost our 11 month old doodle, River, to septic shock. She ate an item of clothing, and it put multiple holes in her small intestine. Long story short, she never cried or showed signs of…Continue

So for the past week 80% of our mornings have started with finding Luna covered in poop in her crate. She barked the first time it happened at 4am, and we cleaned everything up. She seemed to have a…Continue

I know it's normal, I know it takes patience and training... But my goodness, the biting and chewing, and lack of obedience is tiring sometimes! Luna is the sweetest dog, but she has two parts of the…Continue

So on Sunday we brought Luna home! The breeder had warned us that she has a lot of energy and quite the attitude. But she asked us to trust her and that in two-three months she would calm down and we…Continue

How very heartbreaking to lose such a special little girl so young. Way too young to leave this world and such a wonderful family. She had 10 months of sweet and generous love from you and your beautiful family and that shines through in all your pictures. May time heal your pain and memories bring you comfort.
Melissa - I am so sorry about River - I'm not sure when you are ready, but I started a discussion a while ago about different poems that I've read helping you deal with a doodle's death and so many people responded with beautiful sayings. The discussion is www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/death-of-a-doodle and when you are ready to read some of these, I think it will help you to heal. I know it's a very tough time and I am so sorry for you and your family! I think what helped me through the death of my Zak was a very dear friend told me that although I was heartbroken at losing Zak, I had to realize that although Zak was here for a very short time, I was chosen to be her family and I gave her the best life she could ask for! Hugs and strength to get through this to you and your family.
Happy Birthday Melissa! Hope your day is wonderful and full of Doodle kisses from Luna!
Melissa, Kramer is from Hey Dood in Montana. His breeder is no longer in business. The reason i joined Golden and Doodles is because they bought Kramer's mother a long time ago. Her name is Delta. She is long retired and I'm not sure if she is even alive anymore.
I often check out their chocolate golden doodles. (For the future, lol).
