We are in Vienna, so not so close to you, but if you are ever traveling this way on your way to somewhere we would be happy to watch your doggies. Shiloh and Fenway would love some friends.

Hi DK friends. We live in MD on the Eastern Shore, about halfway between Annapolis and Salisbury. We have a two year old doodle and just acquired a 3 month old doodle. Would be happy to talk with anyone needing a sitter for a night or up to a week. We also would like to find a sitter for when we travel, which isn't often. We've had some success finding sitters on Rover.com, but it would be nice to find a sitter with experience or knowledge of Doods. Thanks!

Hi there. I am looking to connect with families in the Ann Arbor Metropolitan Detroit Michigan area that would be interested in pet sitting for one another on occasion. We have a 10 month old Golden Doodle named Maggie. She is house and crate trained and great with other dogs and kids but has never been around cats. She is a sweetie pie but is still a bit timid of strangers but once she is familiar with a new person, she warms right up! We also have a 4 year old Pointer/Dob mix named Chloe who is also a big sweetie.  Chloe was a rescue dog and was fostered for a year prior to coming to live with us. Her foster family most often watches her for us when we go out of town but we are finding it difficult to find someone for our Doodle Maggie to stay with. We also aren't too keen on kennels. I figured this would be a good place to post a message to see if there are families in our area where we could mutually help one another with pet sitting. Thanks, Krista

We will be traveling to Phoenix AZ the first week of April and I am considering trying to find someone there who will watch my 3 dogs for me there while I am in town. 2 Goldendoodles and my Golden Retriever.

I am a professional Pet sitter here in Las Vegas, and so I know how hard it is to leave your pets. I have someone here who can stay with them, but am considering bringing them along if I could find the right place.

What are you planning to do in California?  Are you planning to drive?  We would love to have Charlie Brown and Beau for a day, or even a couple of days if you have something you want to do where they are not welcome.  In this area, dogs are very welcome in many places, but if you are doing something like a wine-tasting tour, it might be better not to have them with you.

Thanks Lynda.  I think it will be spring before we head down that way!  But I would be so much more comfortable knowing they were with a fellow doodle lover for the day!

Oh, yeah, that makes sense.  And people have taken us up on it.  We love having other doodles stay with us (if they can put up with Harpo).  In fact, we have our favorite doodle staying with us again in December while her family goes to India to visit an ill father.  Sure, we will be glad to have Charlie Brown and Beau stay with us.

Lynda~ maybe it is because you agreed to doodle sit in your DK profile?  If we ever come to the central coat I hope you will you doodle sit for us a day or two?
