About Me:: My name is Monique Laan and originally I am from The Netherlands/Holland. Until my husband and I and our two kids came to Ontario, we lived in Alkmaar, the famous "cheesetown" in Holland. Well Senna couldn't be more lucky as she looooves cheese! She is like a little mouse and sssssshh... don't tell anybody, but as it wasn't for the cheese she wouldn't have passed all her obedience tests. Just kidding! Labradoodles are very smart, bright and easy to train, even without cheese.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a chocolat brown medium size authentic Australian Labradoodle. Her name is Senna and she will be 2 next month. She will have her first litter around April 20, 2010. We are so excited!!!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: To be very honest... I have always been very afraid of dogs...and I mean really afraid, but when a met a labradoodle for the first time and the gentle creature approached me and looked me in the eye, I immediately felt that it was OK. That special look turned me from paranoia for dogs in wanting a dog!!!

Although neither me or the rest of our family is allergic I only wanted to have a Labradoodle and nothing else. Especially after all the information I gathered about this wonderful breed.
