- I am a stay at home mom/substitute teacher/mom to 10 yr old Zach, and wife to Mitch.

- Labradoodle. She is cream, but reddish on her back and ears. Suki Marie is almost 4 months old and so cute and smart. As of today she can sit, give paw, go down, stand on her hind legs, and roll over. She is our only pet.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My husband fell in love with a Labradoodle at the park.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Go to the dog park, and teach her new tricks.

- A little bit but nothing major

- The Barrie Inn in Woodmere.

I grew up in Woodmere - L O N G time ago. My Dad still lives in Long Beach.
If you are interested, join the Jersey Group. We meet at the beach in the warmer weather. We had a romp a couple of weeks ago and at least 50 doodles were there! I am sure once the cold lifts in the spring we will bundle up and meet again. I know it's not around the corner, probably about 2 hours but your kids would also have a wonderful day. Hope to meet you!

I'm so glad you're familiar with the Queens/ LI area.
I would love to join your romp, and have Rags, meet other dogs. What dog park are you going to? We are always interested in going to new places, so the usual ones don't get boring.
You should come back and try Alley Pond one day. I love it because she gets to run and run, and be free. No fences. It's the best! Plus, the dogs there, are like her pack, it's great socially, for her and I.
If you ever need a doodle fix while you are in town we could meet at one of the parks for coffee and watch the doods play :)
