About Me:: I'm a young professional woman in my late 20's. I live with my fiancee in our very first home, and it's safe to say we both work entirely too much. I had dogs my whole life growing up, but waited several years after college to get my first dog as a "grown up". We finally decided to, and since then he has become the center of my life. :)

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Yadi is a "double doodle" or North American Retriever. His mother is an F1B Labradoodle, and his father is an F1B Goldendoodle. He's currently 8 months old (born in October 2010). And yes, he's named after Yadier Molina. :) And he might be a little bit spoiled....

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I've had "mutts" my whole life that were shelter rescues, but my allergies have become progressively worse in the past 15 years. This was one of my hesitations in getting a dog again, so as I learned more about the Doodle breeds I was hooked. :) Everything about their goofy personalities appealed to me.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Yadi is still an adolescent, so we play lots of fetch, go on lots of walks to burn energy, and spent time doing behavior exercises so he can be the good citizen all the time that he is inside my house. It also helps that he's a lazy boy who likes to sleep in on Sunday mornings. :)

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I do the routine brushing, but we go to a professional (Bark-A-Lounge in Naperville)

Favorite Doodle Products?: Still learning... I have some favorites, but none yet are Doodle-specific. Eager to learn though!
