Hi Robert! I'm so happy to hear you are going to become a doodle parent! You can get a look at our f2b (which means he has even more poodle in his makeup) boy on my page. He has kind of mixed coat with very woolly hair on his back, some curls around his neck and more fleece everywhere else! We keep him in a "tailored" cut much of the time because of the heat here in TX and it is easier to keep and he looks cute that way I think. He is a delightful and very smart boy. I personally like boy dogs - and they are cheaper to have neutered! Toby does not have any of the bad boy dog habits - he was 'fixed" when he was 5 months old. He's not a couch potato and he does need exercise but, except for when we have a visitor come to the door, he is very mellow in the house. When someone comes to the door he thinks it's party time or something so we just put him on the leash for control. He eventually settles down. Hope this helps yo in the decision process.
PS Toby was not the cutest little puppy though (see pics). I worried about him compared to his sister that my best friend has BUT he turned out great!
