Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Wanted Golden Retriever personality with low shedding and hybrid vigor.

He also barks at us and barks, and gets closer and closer, almost lunging at us, and keeps biting. His tail is wagging the whole time, so I'm sure he is just trying to play, but we've been scratched up quite a bit. We also have been putting him in his crate for a time out, but a lot of times, he'll come out and start doing it again. Trying to wait it out. I'm guessing it's a phase. We've tried to teach him to lick, not bite by using several different methods, but so far, the biting is his favorite. At least I know it's not just him. If I find something that works, I'll let you know.

In the meantime it does seem like the status does eventually "take" it just takes a bit of time (which shouldn't be that way of course). When I look at your page it says your dog does NOT shed and you are married.

I'm assuming this is a temporary puppy thing, too, cuz he's left a few good marks with his teeth. Not a hyper dog at all, just has his moments. otherwise very sweet! He's a little over 50 lbs now, and we just got him neutered 2 weeks ago.
