What kind of food are you feeding your Doodles?

About Me:: I want so much to buy a labradoodle that I can love and cuddle and one that is light cream and dark ears. I have a golden retriever 10 years old and walk every day would love to have a puppy now that I can love and train. I hope to find a small one any suggestions?????

I don't know about dogs but we had a cat who had five litters of kittens and the vet said that she should not have any more litters because it could kill her. We have lots of people on DK who breed so it would be a very good discussion to start. If you do start the discussion it might we interesting to know if anything is lost in the health as you get further along down the line. It would be very interesting to know the answers to these questions.Delete Comment

At 7:45am on May 15, 2010, Barbara Burrows said…: Abby is 23#, 19 inches tall has a wool coat, sweet, gentle and a therapy dog. Molly is 21# 16 inches tall, fleece coat, sweet but independent personality. She climbs like a cat, loves to be as high as she can get. I spent a lot of time socializing and training both of them, we can eat at an out door cafe and they will stay quietly at our feet. They do not shed but do require regular brushing. I am able to groom them myself but took them to a groomer when they were young. I wanted them to be OK with someone else handling them. I feel very fortunate that neither have ever had any destructive habits, like chewing or touching any thing they shouldn't.
The white dog is my son's golden doodle. She is 3 years old, an F1b, 54#, & 23 inches tall. She is a beautiful dog.

Gracie's mother was the Poodle and she was a very tall girl. Gracie size if more in her legs. She is very tall but when wet very skinny. My neighbor across the street has a 5 month old Standard and she was told 45-50 lbs. We shall see. She is starting to look just like Gracie did at that age though Gracie weighed more. We were told that Gracie was going to be probably 50-55. They say girls are smaller. But, no matter what...you are going to love her. Whether small, medium or large they are all Doodles and all behave pretty much the same way.
