About Me:: I am the mom to Harli 20 & Destini 15.
we live in NW Iowa. Harli's Service Dog, Obsidian, is our golden-doodle.
Obi is Harli's service dog. Harli has Angelman Syndrome www.angelman.org to learn more.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Obsidian 'Obi' is 4 years old.
He came to us from Lewisburg TN. ( www.goldens-n-doodles.com )
He is a black doodle, his momma was a black standard and his daddy a golden retriever. Teri Rowland-Fann is a Owner-Recommended Breeder and takes a personal interest in each of her doods well-being and care. These pups come from a very loving home environment with top-notch care and breeding.
We also have two very rotten and spoiled cats, Shadow-Cat & Picasso. Obi loves to harrass Picasso, but it is clear that Shadow rules the house lol*

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We didn't choose Obi, he chose us. He was donated to Harli for the purpose of being her service & companion dog. Now that we have him, I really would not want any other breed. He is amazingly gentle and super smart.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Obi is a riot! He loves to catch, fetch and 'talk' to us. He loves long walks and 'time-off' from work. He really likes the mall & Barnes & Noble. He has a very protective and gentle way with small children & the elderly.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: LaDonna at JRG Supply in Ft.Dodge Iowa~SHE IS THE BEST!!

Favorite Doodle Products?: We only feed Obi all natural products, no corn meal, no by-products.
He enjoys Purina Pro-Plan for Sensitive Stomach & Skin, it is salmon based and has no by-products or corn.
He also enjoys the Carob Chip cookie from Three Dogs Bakery, and the dairy-free yogurt treats from Gourmet Dogs, as well as their peanut butter biscuit.
His favorite chew is the Chew-lotta bone, it has no by-products or corn either, and last him several hours. He also gets real ribeye bones to naw on along with his favorite toy the Kong.
He has a Kong frisbee as well....

We actually got Holly from club doodles in Nashville, from Bonnie Holt. She does share some of her male breeding dogs with Terri Fann though. I read your profile and it sounds like Obi is an great dog! I'm a speech therapist so I've learned about Angelman Syndrome but never had experience with anyone first hand. Sounds like you have a wonderful family. I would love to set up a doodle romp some time in the future, Holly loves dogs far more than she loves us humans, and she can play for hours without getting tired :). Keep in touch!
