I am an animal lover and have always had a dog in my home. My parents had a poodle before I was born and she lived with us until I was 10 years old. Santa brought me a shih tzu that year. I developed allergies a few years later but thank goodness for allergy medicines. When I got married we got a poodle and he was with us when we started our family. He lived with us for 15 years. My kids were older then and wanted a big fun dog. I was concerned about allergies and then came across the labradoodle breed. Well let me tell you I would never get another breed.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Jet is a 5 year old black labradoodle and is the sweetest dog in the world. He is very friendly and thinks everyone comes to our house to see him. He doesn't do floors or dog beds. He sleeps with us and shares the living room furniture with us. He is so silly at times

Hello GRAD member,
We have a new and exciting event coming July 26th, from 1-4 to celebrate our recent jump to 100 members!
We will be having a BBQ/Picnic and a lake for the doodles to go swimming at The Dude Ranch in Glen Allen. Please check out the discussion on the group page entitled "Party Time" and respond there if you plan to attend so I can get a doodle head count for the facility.
Thanks and hope to see you there!

Hello again GRAD member! Just sending out a reminder that our next gathering will be at the Easter Parade on Monument Ave. We will be meeting at Jaime's house at 1 pm. Check out the discussion on the group page for more details and hope to see you there!
Hey there GRAD member,
This is a reminder that the Spring Romp is next weekend March 15th at 1pm. The make-up date in case of bad weather is the following Sunday. We have some great news, our newest member Charnell told me her daughter Amy, is launching a canine therapeutic massage business and she has volunteered to provide some freebie massages to the GRAD group at the romp. Also as I stated in the e-mail message we will be having a few contest. Inspired by Strange's Dog days in the garden, the best sit/stay, the owner/doodle look-a-like, and the best dressed for St. Patty's day contests. Please respond in the discussion on the group page if you will be attending and please let me know if you are new to the group, are attending and would like your GRAD bandana for your doodle.
Thanks and hope to see you there!

Hey there GRAD member,
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know there is a discussion I’d like you to check out on the GRAD page if you haven’t already seen it. It’s on the topic of “Birth Homes” and you may just find a sibling or two of your doodle on there. All you need to do is put your doodles birth info (as much as you know) in the discussion.
Also don’t forget about our doodle walk coming up on Feb. 7th in Carytown at 2pm!!
GRAD FAMILY IN NEED OF YOUR THOUGHTS.
I was wondered if you would mind sending well wishes to one of our GRAD members, Brody that belongs to Nicole Helmantoler has been suffering with seizures. He had his first one back in Oct. and one at the beginning of Dec. Just recently he had several together (clustering) and had to spend the night at the Emergency Vet. He is back home and now on medication, Phenobarbital daily for the seizures. He is doing much better but if you can just stop by her page and let them know that we are all thinking and praying that Brody continues to do well, I am sure they would appreciate that.
