Ginny thanks for the info. I emailed them today and they resent my tickets, I didn't receive them either.

Hey Girls,  Boooo Hooooo my email tickets didn't come through yet, but I will just be patient until tomorrow!  Yes, they set up a whole bunch of round tables and chairs and it is in the hills of Malibu so it is cooler because of the trees, but will probably still be 80 degrees is my prediction . .  for what it's worth.  Yes, bring tons of water for your dog.  They provide drinks including beer and wine for us and a buffet lunch.  Your dood will not need any toys because they will just have a ball running around loose with about 200 other doodles.  Don't worry a dog never gets lost because mine will run off and go wander around and then come and check in with me about every 10 minutes.  It is amazing to see how these smart Doodles will be able to find you out of about 200 people!  You'll have a blast!  You will get dirty by the way!!!

They said to bring lots of water for the pups. Wasn't sure about chairs, but past photos look like they rent a bunch of tables and chairs from a catering service, so I'll travel light. Hope to run into you, Jolene! (I was named after my grandfather, thus the Y in my name. 99.9 % of people try to stick an E in there)

Sorry about spelling Gwyndolyn, both my mom and Kirstie are Gweneviere's!  Force of habit to add the "e"

OH NO!  They said no toys poor Sassparilla is gonna go nuts she only knows to fetch 24/7, I think it's part of her anxiety?  This will be interesting to see what she does there.  I was told they will supply chairs and shade so I guess we just bring us, our doods, and camera?  Sorry first time, yeah!

I have to trim Baylee's eyelashes about every 4-5 months because if they get too long they start to turn under and she can't see too well.  I think a lot of the Goldendoodles have long eyelashes, but Baylee's seem to really stand out because they are naturally black and she is a parti-doodle (white/brown/little gray) and so maybe you will spot her at the romp.  I will be wearing a light pink t-shirt with a small Doodle (pocket doodle) on it and I have blond hair and am a little chubby (boo hoooo)!  Kona sounds adorable and you will see small doodles and huge doodles . . . Baylee is in between the two.

I got Kona from Living Streams in Montana.  Their mini's are typically pretty small (14 to 17 pounds) so they would call Kona at 24 pounds either a small medium or a very large Mini.  So I guess that makes Baylee a "Jumbo Mini". :-)  I keep Kona's long red eyelashes trimmed to about 2 inches.  They have been 3 inches at one point, but they just flop on his cheeks.  Maggie has very normal little white lashes, but it sounds like Baylee's are more like Kona's.

Sounds like the doods are going to have a blast.

When I got Baylee they said she was a mini, but she is actually 40 lbs.  We got Baylee at 4 months old from some friends who had ordered her from Smeraglia's, but they found they traveled too much.  They knew I had had four pet therapy dogs and I wanted a Doodle and so they gave her to me.  I did train her to do pet therapy and she now goes to two local hospitals, a school for autistic kids and will soon be part of the Los Angeles Airport pet therapy program.  Can't wait for you to see her.  She has natural long dark eyelashes.  What breeder did you get your dogs from?  I hope to meet you there.  Also, yes it is a dog park situation.  About 3 acres of just dirt and lots of trees around and it is pretty much fenced in and the doodles (about 200 of them) just run around and play.  Usually you don't hear any barking or anything.  Great buffet lunch, wine, beer, soft drinks, all included.

Thanks Ginny!  I'm assuming that this is very casual "dog park" kind of attire, correct?  Get down and dirty?  Baylee is adorable.  I see that you have her listed as a mini.  She looks bigger than my Kona and I always call him a small Medium.  He is 24 pounds and about 17 inches tall.  Maybe I should start calling him a mini!  His newly adopted sister is about 27 pounds, and I definitely would call her a medium because she's a little taller too.  I'm anxious to see all of the sizes, shapes and colors of so many doods in one place!
