Melissa, we have reservations a the Four Seasons RV Resort in Walla Walla.  I think it is right next to the park.

Me and Qwyn plan to come. Just trying to find somewhere to camp that isn't 20-50 miles away.

Great thanks Adina.  On google maps, the satellite view, looks like it is in a nice area?  Everything is clean and well kept!  Gosh I'm so excited, first solo road trip though, unless my sister flies down to join me.  One of Sassparilla's litter-mates is in Port Townsend, I hope we can meet up!  Plus the doodle group out of Vancouver that we met a few years back while on vacation!  I'm tellin ya it's all about the dogs! lol

It looks like Motel 6 is across the street from one of the top high end restaurants in town (Whitehouse Crawford) so that's a plus I guess.  And you'll be pretty close to downtown.

Thanks, let me see what my sister wants to do?  I'm picking up a boat for her on Craigslist and I am really hoping she'll be there to finalize the deal.  If she comes we'll crash at the motel but if I come solo I'll gladly crash in the RV, warning it'll be cozy!  I'd be happy to split the campsite cost as well, I have an AARP card! lol  We'd need to find out how they handle extra vehicles.  Usually in RV spots they can fit a tow vehicle in which case I'd park the boat then we could get around town in my truck?  At the next romp we'll have to compare travel notes.  I'm heading up the weekend before to stop at Shasta Lake for a vintage boat get together that the NorCal group is hosting, hoping the guys will inspect my sisters new boat and maybe I can try giving it a spin around the lake (I'll be sad leaving my boat at home).  From there I was hoping to take the 97 up to Walla Walla, but I need to make sure it's an easy road towing?  My sister thought it was a windy road and recommended the 5, which is boring??  From there I'll be heading onto the San Juan Islands to deliver the boat.  

Thanks Adina, really appreciate it.  SoCal nothing is safe unless it's bolted down!   Can't wait, this is gonna be so much fun.  I hope more chime in, would love to meet as many doodlekisses peeps as possible.  I see names and pictures, it'll be nice to meet face to face and give kisses to all the doodles! Ü

It's a 26' RV. Supposedly sleeps 8. It's just going to be my two daughters and I at that point. And the puppies, of course.

Adina, I'll be transporting a boat onto my sisters in the San Juan Islands after the romp.  Since I am not familiar with your town am I safe to leave it unattended at the motel?  I'm currently looking at staying at the Motel 6 off 2nd street, I believe (2 dogs like the no pet fee)?  Looks like it used to be the American Motel??  TIA
