- About Me:
- My family and I lost our German Shepherd / Australian Shepherd Cross in April 2013 due to Degenerative Myelopathy.
I've been wanting a Goldendoodle long before we lost him, and now we finally have one.
Our puppy was born 7-8-13 and is an F2B.
And since October 2014 we also have a little girl. F1b Mini Goldendoodle Sierra. Born 8-9-14. Exactly one year, one month and one day after Nimbus :-)
Fast forward to 2016. We now added Clooney, F1b medium GD. Born 6-30-2016.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- He's an F2B Goldendoodle. His name: Nimbus (cloud - fluffy and white)
And our new baby is Sierra, F1b Mini Goldendoodle, red.
Clooney, F1b medium straight hair. Cream to very light apricot with some white on his nose and chest.
We also have a black, long haired cat named Toulouse.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I love the teddy bear looks of a shaggy doodle. Hoping for no or less shedding than our shepherd.
And they are supposed to have great personalities and are smart and trainable.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Snuggle, play fetch, go for walks. Dog park. Beach. Doodle romps.Agility.
Watch them play together. I could do that all day. They're so cute!

Hi! Thank you so much for your message. I kinda freaked when I was told it might be $600/mo. But I wasn't planning on buying it (that would be very pricey). If you have a recipe you like let me know- also some article say forgo vitamins except the fish oil (I think?). And do you add bones? I need a guide for what to add (eggs? meat? do you add veggies-and are they slightly steamed?) SO MANY QUESTION- many different answers on the net' the BARF method vs the other one (can't remember).As I wrote I've wanted cat to be on raw...they are on high end canned. But would love to transition them. But I can't afford $600/mo! But any thoughts let me know- I'm all ears.

Oh I remember the movie. I am old enough to have watched it when it was new. I was sure Netflix would have it, but will rent it. It sounds cool to say I named Clancy after a dog in an old John Wayne movie! Just like I found out that Ned was the name of an Australian folk hero thief - much after I had already named Ned. :-}

I didn't. We had a name contest on doodlekisses. He was even Hula for a day - I really liked that name but it didn't fit him. We chose Clancy from all the suggestions - it actually is Nancie Casey and Graciedoodle's son's name! You met Nancie and Gracie at dog beach. Now I am going to have to go look up the movie!

- Hi Helga! It would be great to meet up! I just took Abigail to the simi dog park for the first time this week and she loves it! It would be amazing for her to have other doodles to play with! I'm in TO quite often, what time do you usually go? I can definitely meet you there. Simi ' s dog park is nice (from my limited experience at dog parks). Well maintained and snuggled in the hills- I was pleasantly surprised.
