Event Description

Wonder Bar for Yappy Hour
Dogs get to romp and play in very large fenced outdoor area while Mommy and Daddy get to play in their own way....
Drinks & food are available for humans (burgers, chicken fingers hot dogs, kind of food) and dog treats are available for the pooches.
You must bring either your dog's current town license or current rabies vaccination tag to show proof..

Yappy Hour starts at 4p due to the hot weather. Music inside starts at 8pm but we will not have to leave; weather permitting.

The Wonder Bar is located at the South West corner of Ocean Avenue and 5th Street, across from Asbury Park's Convention Center/Paramount Theater and the Hojo's. If you have driven into the ocean, you passed us -- we're on the other side of the Boardwalk, just before the Atlantic! We are sure you have heard of the Stony Pony!! well - we're exactly 3 blocks North of the Stone Pony.

FROM MAIN STREET: From Main Street you will pass a number of streets, then right onto Fifth, just before the Park. The Wonderbar is at the end of the street, on the right side, on the corner of Fifth and Ocean Ave. Parking is available on Fifth, or you can take a left onto Ocean, the next left after the Park, and yet another left to put you heading back to the club. Take a left onto Fourth and there's parking all along that block. There is NO parking in the Driveway of the Wonder Bar!

Comment by Sue Robin F on July 8, 2009 at 8:21pm: When I was there 2 weeks ago, it was crowded, so there was not too much room for romping, but the dogs could walk around ... that is why i am suggesting the beach afterwards.

Maybe we can go to the dog beach after Yappy hour.
I live a few minutes away. I will probably go tomorrow night [Thursday] too,also for a friend of mine asked me to join her with her Bergadesco [sp?] dog.
